Plan to attend the free lecture "Islamic Influences in Southwestern Architecture" featuring R. Brooks Jeffery, Coordinator of Preservation Studies at the University of Arizona.

R. Brooks Jeffery has spent his career documenting and interpreting the significance of built environments throughout the world, including the Middle East, Spain, Latin American and the U.S. Southwest. He is coordinator of the multi-disciplinary graduate program in Preservation Studies at the University of Arizona.

This presentation is part of the "Discovering Southern Arizona" lecture series ­- an ongoing series of presentations, lectures, classes, and study tours focusing on the unique history and cultures of Southern Arizona.
