Football

Pima Football started in 2001 and is entering its eleventh season in the Western States Football League.  The program's highlights include its first bowl appearance in 2004, defeating Kilgore College in the Pilgrim's Pride Bowl, and a 7-3 record in 2002.  The program has transferred student athletes to the University of Arizona football program,  Michigan State University, University of California at Berkeley, East Carolina University, and Southern Methodist University.

The Western States Football League is one of the most competitive conferences in the country.  Four year colleges and universities from all over the United States heavily recruit from all the member schools, ensuring high visibility for student athletes with aspirations of continuing their education.

The program's mission statement has always been to recruit athletes primarily from Tucson and Southern Arizona.  As the only community college in Southern Arizona, we are committed to be the first option for athletes wishing to compete in college football.

In its first nine seasons, the football team has evolved with the commitment to give its players and staff a Division I experience with the facilities, resources and educational support at hand.
