Stewart Elected Board Chair

Scott Stewart has been elected as board chair for 2008 by the Pima Community College Board of Governors.   Stewart is an optical engineer and manager at Raytheon Systems Company.  He was elected to the Board of Governors in November 1998 and reelected in November 2004 for a second term that continues through 2010.   He previously served as chair of the five-member board during 2003. 

The Board of Governors elected Dr. Brenda Even as secretary.  She will also serve as the PCC Board representative to the Arizona Association of District Governing Boards. 

Board member Richard Fimbres served as Board of Governors chair for 2007 with Stewart as secretary.
