Commencement Ceremonies Tuesday, May 20

Pima Community College will hold its Commencement Ceremonies at the Tucson Convention Center Arena, 260 S. Church on Tuesday, May 20.  The Ceremonies begin at 7:00 p.m.

Nearly 3,000 students will be eligible to receive more than 4,000 degrees and certificates at the Ceremonies.

Student Karla Bustamante Scott will deliver the main address.  Scott received a national Coca Cola Scholarship earlier this year for her academic excellence and community service.  She was also named to the All-Arizona First Academic Team and the All-USA Second Academic Team.

Graduates planning to attend should arrive in the waiting area by 6:15 p.m. 

Graduates will be presented to the College's Board of Governors.  Degrees will be conferred by the College's Chancellor, Dr. Roy Flores. 

The event is free and open to the public.
