Financial Aid
There are several types of financial aid, including scholarships & grants that don't have to be paid back, and federal, state, and private loans that do require you to pay back what you borrow over time. Learn more about what financial aid is to understand which options are best for you.
Consult our financial aid checklist and follow the steps below to make the financial aid process as easy as possible.
Apply for Aid
First things first: Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), available online at fafsa.gov. Use Pima's FAFSA school code 007266
Once you've completed your FAFSA, the Department of Education will send a copy of the results to you and another copy to Pima. We'll use your results, known as a Student Aid Report, to determine if you qualify for an aid package.
Your financial aid package can be tracked along with other details of your student account online at MyPima. If we need more information to complete your aid package, we'll let you know on your MyPima Financial Aid tab and through MyPima email, so check your account regularly.
Manage Your Award
After you apply for and accept your financial aid, you’ll have to manage your award.
You can find all the information you need about your awards on the Financial Aid tab of your MyPima account.
Get a Campus Job
Federal work study jobs are part-time jobs for students with financial need. Students earn money for education expenses while conducting community service or work related to their course of study.
We've tried to answer all of your financial aid questions and you can always contact us for more help with your financial aid package.
