Overnight Tours in Arizona
New to the area? Looking for an enjoyable learning experience exploring special, out-of-the-way places? Knowledgeable, skilled guides lead small groups on our overnight tours, allowing maximum interaction with the guide and the other tour members. We regularly offer overnight tours ranging from one night to a week or more in Arizona. Transportation is provided via 12-passenger vans on most tours. Unless otherwise indicated, tours leave from Tucson, Community Campus (CC), 401 North Bonita Ave., Tucson, Northwest Campus (NWC), 7600 N. Shannon Rd., and the Community Performing Arts and Learning Center, 1250 West Continental Rd., Green Valley. On our way north, we'll visit Tonto National Bridge, Sunset Crater National Monument and the fascinating, but not-often-visited Wupatki National Monument. We'll explore the incredible Upper Antelope Canyon and have an optional hike to the Horseshoe Overlook. We'll return via Oak Creek Canyon, Sedona, Jerome, as well as the Tuzigoot National Monument. ST560 - Canyon de Chelly National Monument These awesome canyons sheltered prehistoric Pueblo people for 1,000 years and served as an ancestral stronghold for the Navajo Indians. With its beautiful, steep-walled canyons, ruins of prehistoric dwellings perched on high ledges and present- day Navajo homes scattered along the canyon floor, the Monument typifies the colorful southwest.
