How to Apply
- For Staff and Administrative positions, excluding Federal Work Study positions, review the online postings. After finding a position of interest, use our online system to create an account and complete an online application.
- For Faculty positions, refer to the Jobs - Faculty web site to view openings.
- For Adjunct Faculty positions, follow the steps on the Adjunct Faculty Application Process web page.
- For Federal Work Study positions, complete a Staff application [PDF].

About the Application Process
- For regular positions, employment applications are accepted only for current openings. Job opportunities provide information about positions and their qualifications.
- Applicants are required to submit a letter of interest. Some jobs require additional information, such as a resume, copies of licenses or certifications, Motor Vehicle Record (MVR), transcripts or a supplemental questionnaire. Read the position description carefully to determine the materials required.
- Supplemental materials (attachments) may be no larger than 10 megabits each; however multiple attachments are permitted.
- Submit your completed application online.
- To check the status of your application log-in to your account and check the Application Status.
- Two computers, one of which is ADA compliant, are available for use in completing applications in the Human Resources office, 4905D East Broadway Blvd., Tucson, Arizona 85709-1180. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., Mountain Standard Time; the office is closed for all college holidays.
- You'll be notified whenever your application status changes.
- Once received, applications and supporting materials are reviewed for, then screened for relevant knowledge, skills and abilities. Written or oral exercises, interviews and other assessments may be requested.
- When screening reviews are finished, finalists are referred to the hiring supervisor or administrator. Final interviews are conducted.
- A final decision is made, based on interview results, screening results, references, supervisory checks and the needs of the hiring department.
- The entire process is reviewed by Human Resources and the EEO/Affirmative Action Office to assure that Pima policy and the competitive employment process both have been followed. All appointments are subject to approval by the Board of Governors.
