PCCAE Celebrates National Adult Education & Family Literacy Week

Tucson, AZ – Pima Community College Adult Education (PCCAE) is celebrating National Adult Education and Family Literacy Week, September 13-17.

PCCAE will celebrate with several activities including classroom lessons on the rights and responsibilities of citizenship, social media education, election education, voter registration and concluding with a presentation of inspirational posters.  The posters feature success stories of current and former adult basic education students.  Come listen to their stories, meet the students and become inspired.

When:  Friday, September 17, 2010

Where:  Community Campus, 401 North Bonita Avenue

The ceremony begins at 3 p.m. and is free and open to the public.  Light refreshments will be served.
