PCC fall sports begin

Pima Community College will field football, men’s and women’s soccer and volleyball teams this week as regular season competition begins.

The soccer teams will host Glendale Community College on Thursday, Aug. 23 at West Campus. The men will play at 1 p.m. followed by the women at 3:30 p.m. The football team will open at Phoenix College at 7 p.m.

The volleyball opens its season at Arizona Western College in Yuma on Friday, Aug. 24 at 7 p.m.

The soccer teams travel to Chandler on Saturday, Aug. 25 to play Chandler-Gilbert Community College. The men’s team takes the field at 4:30 p.m. and the women play at 7 p.m.
