PCC Fall Sports Oct. 8 – Oct. 14

Pima continues its regular season competition as the soccer and volleyball teams play home and away games. The cross country teams travel to California to compete. There will be scrimmages in men’s and women’s basketball, baseball and softball.
The soccer teams kick off the week on Tuesday at the West Campus’ Aztecs Field when it hosts Paradise Valley Community College. The men’s game will be at 1 p.m. followed by the women at 3:30 p.m.
The volleyball team will host Glendale Community College on Wednesday at the West Campus’ Aztecs Gym. The match will start at 7 p.m.
The soccer teams will play at Phoenix College on Thursday with the men’s game starting at 4:30 p.m. The women will play at 7 p.m. The baseball team will have scrimmage at the Peoria Sports Complex against Mesa Community College at 12:30 p.m. The women’s basketball team will scrimmage at Central Arizona in Coolidge.
The cross country teams will be part of the Mt. SAC Cross Country Invitational in Walnut, CA on Friday with the races begriming at 11 a.m. The volleyball team will play at Central Arizona College in Coolidge at 7 p.m.
The softball and baseball teams also have scrimmages on Friday. The softball team will be at Hillenbrand Stadium as part of the UofA Fall Classic. The Aztecs will play Central Arizona College at 1:30 p.m. and South Mountain Community College at 3:30 p.m. Pima baseball players will participate in the Sophomore All-Stars game at the Peoria Sports Complex at 7:30 p.m.
On Saturday, the football team will play a home game at Sahuarita High School against Scottsdale Community College at 7 p.m.
Men’s and women’s basketball as well as softball will scrimmage on Saturday. The women’s basketball team will be at the West Campus’ Aztecs Gym against Davis-Monthan at 6 p.m. The men’s team will be part of a jamboree at Phoenix College The softball team will play the University of New Mexico at Hillenbrand Stadium at 11 a.m.
