PCC Winter/Spring Sports Feb. 4 – Feb. 10

The Pima Community College basketball teams continue regular season competition as the Aztecs travel for two games this week. The baseball team travels back to Las Vegas. The softball team hosts doubleheaders at the West Campus while the track teams travel to Glendale. The women’s tennis team will host a match at the Tucson Racquet Club and the men’s golf team opens its season in Scottsdale.

The men’s golf team will open its season at the Hillcrest Golf Course in Sun City on Monday and Tuesday as the tournament is hosted by Scottsdale Community College. The teams tee off at 10:30 a.m.

The softball team will be back at the West Campus on Tuesday as it hosts Mesa Community College in a doubleheader. The game first starts at 1 p.m.

The women’s tennis team will open its season at the Tucson Racquet Club as it hosts Western New Mexico University on Wednesday at 11 a.m. The basketball teams will play at Phoenix College on Wednesday. The women’s game will be at 5:30 p.m. and the men will start at 7:30 p.m.

The baseball team will play Western Nevada Community College in a single game on Friday at the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV). The game will start at 3 p.m.

On Saturday, the baseball team will be back on the field in Las Vegas as it plays a doubleheader against Western Nevada Community College. The first game will start at 11 a.m. The softball team will be back at the West Campus on Saturday as it hosts Glendale Community College in a doubleheader. The first game starts at noon. The track & field teams will compete in the Glendale CC Indoor Invitational in Glendale with events beginning at noon.

The basketball teams will also be in action on Saturday as the Aztecs travel to Scottsdale Community College. The men’s game will begin first at 4 p.m. and the women will follow at 6 p.m.

The baseball team will close out competition in Las Vegas as it plays another doubleheader against Western Nevada Community College. The first game will start at 11 a.m.
