Arizona General Education Curriculum
Certificate
Complete courses which meet lower division general education requirements for UA, NAU, ASU and other institutions, as well as the general education requirements for Pima's transfer degrees. Complete this program exclusively on weekdays, exclusively on evenings/weekends, or in a combination of daytime, evening and weekend classes.
The AGEC-A (Arts), AGEC-B (Business) , and AGEC-S (Sciences) have the same categories, but may have specific courses required to fulfill those categories.
It is strongly recommended that students also complete the Associate of Arts, Associate of Fine Arts, Associate of Business Administration, or Associate of Science degrees before transferring.
Important: If you are working toward a transfer degree, note that specific degrees may require core or support courses that already fulfill some or all of the AGEC requirements. Always use your specific degree web page to identify the courses required to earn your degree.
What can I do with this degree?
