Auditing Classes

You may audit almost any class offered by Pima Community College. Auditing a class means you enroll in the class and attend it, but you don't work for nor expect to receive a grade or credit.

To register

  • fill out the audit registration form.
  • take it to the course instructor for signature signifying permission
  • pay the non-refundable fee (equal to one credit hour of regular tuition) plus any applicable course fee.

You can register from the first day that the course meets through the deadline to drop that class.

Once you register to audit a course, you must make any changes to your schedule during the semester in person at any Admissions Office.

Once you begin a course for credit, you cannot change to "audit" status.
