Ricardo Gutierrez: Received the Mothers Against Drunk Drivers (MADD) DUI Enforcement Award

Renee Forsyth: Received the Volunteer of the Year award from the Arthritis Foundation, Arizona chapter

Andy Schuler: Awarded a certificate for passing the (IT) Red Hat exam

Timothy Cruz: Recognized as one of 20 emerging community college leaders from the National Community College Hispanic Council

Juan DiArte: Recognized as one of 20 emerging community college leaders from the National Community College Hispanic Council

Mike Posey: Received a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition during the 2015 Veterans of Distinction awards.  The award was presented by U.S. Rep. Martha McSally

Joshua Cochran: Recognized for leadership of SandScript, PCC’s student arts and literary magazine, which won first place in the Community College Humanities Association’s Literary Magazine Competition

Community Members

Patricia Watson: As Executive Director for the Southern Arizona Council for International Visitors, she has been instrumental in coordinating partnerships with UA Global Affairs that inaugurated Pima’s first International Speaker Series, the first UA@PCC Study Abroad Fair, and ongoing opportunities to host programs to introduce international leaders to the Southwest, to Tucson and to PCC.
