Campus Alerts / Campus Watches

PCC is responsible for reporting to the campus community significant crime incidents on or near the campuses that may pose a continuing threat to campus safety and security in accordance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act.

Crime Alerts vs Campus Watch

Campus Watch:  timely notifications of potential emergency (safety, criminal, health, hazardous weather) activity on or near a campus where the threat is NOT immediate or life threatening.

Crime Alert: urgent information regarding emergencies that dictate immediate action because they present an immediate threat to the lives and safety of the general campus community.
