Access to DMAFB
All Pima students attending classes at Davis-Monthan AFB must show
- proof of US citizenship. The only acceptable proofs of US citizenship are one of the following:
- original birth certificate with raised seal
- current US passport, or
- Naturalization papers for naturalized citizens
- and a Pima Class Schedule printed from the MyPima Academics tab, My Schedule section.
Students driving vehicles onto the base must show driver's license, proof of auto insurance, and vehicle registration.
Passes for entry to the Base can be obtained at the Visitor's Center at the Craycroft/Golf Links Gate daily between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m.
Students may obtain Base passes up to one week before classes start.
To meet Homeland Security regulations, the government will conduct any background checks it deems appropriate to maintain law and order and ensure the security of the personnel and property on the installation.
All Pima College students enrolled in any course offered at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base must undergo a criminal background check to gain permission to enter the Base.
As required by DMAFB Security Personnel, Pima Community College will provide the name, social security number and date of birth of any Pima student enrolled in, or ceasing enrollment in, classes taught on DMAFB.
