Experience 'Lyric Microbursts' Feb. 6

Pima Community College’s free faculty Speakers’ Series begins with "Lyric Microbursts."

English faculty Eric Aldrich, Maggie Golston, Josie Milliken and Steve Salmoni are kicking off
the first PCC Speakers' Series presentation with readings of their current projects in poetry,
fiction and creative nonfiction. An informal question/answer session will follow the readings.

Two other presentations are scheduled this semester. The dates and topics are:

  • Tuesday, March 6: "The Literary Discourse of Women Writers in Modern Arabic Literature," by Arabic language instructor Samia Kholoussi, Ph.D.
  • Tuesday, April 3: "Pride and Prejudice: A Southern Girl Rethinks Her Beloved Monuments," by Writing faculty Sarah O'Hara
