PCC Athletics Mar. 5-11

The Pima Athletics winter sports begin playoff competition and spring sports seasons continues. The men’s golf team will play an invitational in Sun City, AZ. The baseball team will split time between the road and the West Campus. The basketball teams will compete in their respected Region I, Division II tournaments. The softball team will play two doubleheaders on the road.

The men’s golf team will compete in the Scottsdale Invitational on Monday and Tuesday at the Hillcrest Golf Club in Sun City, AZ. Teams will begin to tee off on both days at 11:00 a.m.

The baseball team will play an ACCAC doubleheader on Tuesday at GateWay Community College. The games will be at noon and 2:30 p.m.

The No. 2 seeded women’s basketball team will play No. 3 Glendale Community College on Tuesday at the West Campus Gymnasium in the NJCAA Region I, Division II semifinals. The game will be a WHITE-OUT theme where fans are requested to wear white to the game. The winner will play in the Region I, Division II finals on Saturday. Check pimaaztecs.com for schedule updates. General admission is $5, Students/Military admission $3. Passes will not be accepted.

The softball team will play an ACCAC doubleheader at Glendale Community College on Thursday. The games will be at 1:00 and 3:00 p.m.

The baseball team will return to the West Campus Baseball Field to face off against Yavapai College. First pitch of the doubleheader will be at noon.

The softball team will play an ACCAC conference doubleheader at Paradise Valley Community College on Saturday in Phoenix. First pitch will be at noon.

Entry for football, soccer and basketball games is $5 general admission, $3 with student/military ID. Children under 10 get in for FREE. All other Pima sporting events are FREE ENTRY.
