Fire Science Academy Track
Gain firefighting, hazardous materials, and wildland firefighting skills. This program meets Arizona certification requirements for Firefighter I and II. Additionally students will be able to achieve International Fire Service Accreditation Congress (IFSAC) certification as a Hazmat First Responder. Students will also be awarded a certificate of completion for wildland firefighting training for the National Wildfire Coordination Group.

Academic options: Continue your studies by taking classes toward an Associate of Applied Science in Fire and Emergency Services Higher Education (FESHE).

Program Requirements 2017-2018
Before enrolling in this program, you must fulfill the following requirements with a grade of C or better.
Students must provide documented certification from the State of Arizona or National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians stating that they have obtained a minimum of EMT certification.
